That sounds like a great combination! Sweet and savory, with heat and a bit of tartness from the vinegar. Bet this would work well with chicken too. Pity you didn't have enough for a sauce - drizzling just a bit of that (reduced and thickened) over the sliced pork would have been stellar! YUM!
