Indeed! These weren't near as sweet as a Boston baked bean type, but definitely more sweet than the "standard" version of Ranch style. Though the savory spices, onions, and mix of beans certainly gave it pretty strong "ranch-like" qualities. Just reserve some of those bacon drippings you're getting when you fry up wuffy's home cured bacon, and mix those with some fried store-bought bacon bits to put into the beans for extra meat, and you'll have a great batch of flavor there!
